The first May bank holiday means the IWA Canalway Cavalcade again! It’s time for us to get down to London and display our list of narrowboats for sale, canal boats for sale, project boats and barges for sale on the Grand Union. We’re looking forward to seeing lots of boats and meeting other boaters.

If you’ve never been before, it’s a unique waterways and community festival organised by Inland Waterways Association volunteers. It’s been running since 1983 in the heart of London, in pretty Little Venice.

You can expect to see a a pageant of boats with plenty of bunting. There will be trade shows and stalls, live bands, competitions, Morris dancers and children’s activities. As always at canal festivals there will be delicious food on sale and real ale to wash it all down with. Entry is free. The nearest tube stations are Warwick Avenue or Paddington.

This is the starting gun for the Boating Season and Boatshed Grand Union and Boatshed Inland are proud to be major sponsors of this event.
