As would be expected for an ex-commercial fishing vessel, a good portion of this vessel is comprised of open deck, and as such is well-equipped for fishing. Two downrigger mounts are installed on the gunwales - one to port and one to starboard. An aft steering station is located in the cockpit, outboard to port. Access to the lazarette, which houses the steering gear, the potable water tank, and two fuel tanks, is through a hatch in the non-skid cockpit deck. Forward of the cockpit is a work deck constructed of caulked fir. This elevated work deck provides access to a 285 cu ft cargo hold located underneath an aluminum deck cover. The work deck provides access to the side decks which lead forward as well as to the interior of the vessel.

Because this is a wooden vessel the interior has an immediately warm and inviting feel. A pilot berth is located to starboard aft end of the salon. With a drop-down table lowered, this pilot berth doubles as a settee. The galley features a good amount of storage in cabinets both above and below a countertop. A single basin stainless galley sink features an in-line filter in the cabinet beneath the sink. The Dickinson Pacific diesel stove, a favorite on vessels of this type, provides a continuous source of dry heat and doubles as a cooktop and oven. A Novakool 4.5 cu ft DC refrigerator is located at the forward end of the galley.

The helm station is equipped with the usual array of electronics - radar, chart plotter, depth sounder, and radios as well as engine instrumentation and controls.

A ladder leads to the forward cabin located under the foredeck. A single berth is situated against the hull to starboard with storage below, and an overhead hatch provides natural light.

A locker that used to be a head compartment is located to port, however, the marine toilet has been removed. Accordingly, this space could be used as storage as-is, or a marine toilet could be re-installed.

The engine compartment is located underneath the salon and can be accessed by removing the ladder which leads to the forward cabin. The engine room layout provides good access to the engine. The engine room also contains two additional fuel tanks.

Exiting the interior via companionway onto the work deck and looking forward two narrow side decks are visible. These lead forward to a compact foredeck with a hydraulic-powered drum windlass.

The flybridge and its steering station is accessed via a stout ladder from the work deck. Paravanes and paravane poles are accessible from here, as well as access to the exhaust stack, antennae, and ladder rungs to climb the mast.

VIRTUAL TOUR - VIDEO - 80 TO 100 PHOTOS - FULL SPECS CAN BE VIEWED OF THIS VESSEL!

Originally built as a commercial gillnetter / troller and converted to a recreational trawler yacht. This classic wooden trawler is rich with Pacific Northwest character! Constructed to be stout and seaworthy, her solid construction has been proven by the years.

With 450 gallons of fuel aboard, and what appears to be a well-maintained newer Isuzu diesel engine (an engine with a reputation for commercial ruggedness) this vessel could make it to Alaska and back - without refueling. Other noteworthy qualities include the open back deck well suited for recreational fishing, 285 cu ft cargo hold, three steering stations, anti-rolling paravanes and poles, and a Dickinson diesel stove to keep the cabin warm and dry.

A buyer would likely install a marine toilet in the head compartment. Another simple modification would be to convert the forward single berth into a V-berth configuration to improve the sleeping arrangements for couples.
