The original wood bulwarks have been replaced with steel capped in purple heartwood. The deck surface is fir planked covered with a waterproof coating. Starboard aft is the companionway to the very large engine room and workshop. The other deck features include towing winch, outside helm station and the forward hydraulic anchor windlass. On the cabin top is the bank of solar panels.
The current owners have been responsible for most of the restoration concerning the hull. They replaced about 25% of the hull planking as well as "wooding out" the entire hull. During that process they penetrated the planks with hot oil before re-caulking, re-seaming. All of the new planking material is Olympic Peninsula old growth Douglas Fir. The growth rings are 18 to 20 rings per inch and are 2 &1/4 inches thick.
The fuel tanks are Black Iron with epoxy lining
The water tanks are ABS
The holding tank is steel

Entry to the galley and salon is via the doorway either port or starboard of the of the main cabin. Entering from the starboard directly into the U shaped galley facing aft. The diesel stove is a large Dickerson Atlantic with cook top and large oven. This stove serves for both cooking and cabin heat and becomes the heart beat of the galley-salon. A sink and counter serves as a divider between the convertible dining table that seats four and becomes sleeping for two.

Moving forward and to the right is an L-shaped seating area that converts to sleeping for one. Forward port is another double doorway to the port side deck and forward to port is the companionway to the lower forward cabin. The pilot house is forward on the center of the salon and features double doorways both port and starboard. There is bench seating that also converts to a very adequate sleeping berth. The floors are beautifully finished fir plank. The side walls are white painted tongue and grove panels. The traditional use of teak and mahogany as well as tight-grained clear fir with gleaming white paint makes for surroundings that speak to the craftsmanship and the tradition of a historic restoration.

Down the portside companionway from the salon is the lower forward cabin with en suite head with bathtub, Masterflush head, sink and the washer-dryer. Forward is the queen-size walk around bed with storage below. A special feature of this sleeping area is the vaulted space above the forward end of the bed that has room for the flat screen TV, with a deck hatch over head providing daylight and ventilation.

Out the starboard double door and aft is the entry to the very large engine room. The generator has been removed due to the installation of solar power so there is now extra space for a workshop.

Up on the aft deck is the tow winch and outside vessel controls.
