Broker's Comments

This 40ft power boat has a master suite aft with en suite heads and shower, a forecabin likewise equipped, a large saloon area, a separate dining area that converts to another double berth and a galley that is better equipped than you'd find in many apartments.

The reason for the low price is the discovery of osmosis, plus necessary repairs to the inside wood frames of the windscreen and some associated veneer damage.

On a very positive notes one of the two 375hp engines has recently had a new starter motor fitted and they are both very accessible under the hatches in the saloon. They started easily and ran smoothly. A recent sea trial was successful and demonstrated the manoeuvrability of this substantial craft without recourse to bow thrusters.

The engine bay also accommodates 8 large batteries.

The teak cockpit has recently been renovated and the fly bridge is complemented by a large sundeck atop. Her cockpit canvas looks in good order. On the downside, some of the gel coat is a bit faded as is the finish around some of the sliding windows.

The late owner lived aboard for some years and the care which he lavished on the living areas is very apparent.

This vessel has recently been certified for use on the River Thames - all her new owner needs to do is get a Thames licence if that is the destination.
