Broker's Comments

The Albin Ballad is probably one of the best 30 footers, from her generation and still stands the test of time. Scandinavian boats always are a cut above the rest due to their good designs and quality of build.
The current owner searched the UK and Europe to pick the best of the pack. She is a Mark II version and won best in class in 2023 at the Ballad Regatta.
The Ballad is a joy to sail and easy to handle, she has a proven track record with transatlantic passages, making an ideal cruising boat for the family or more adventurous passages and yet would not disgrace her self in club racing. Her engine has been upgraded to a Volvo 19hp Volvo Penta engine which can push her along against powerful tides.
The accommodation is well laid out with quality wood finish that is in very good condition. The fore cabin has a large double berth with the heads to starboard and in the main saloon you have 2 settee berths and a quarter berth aft, behind the navigation station. The good sized galley is starboard as you come down the companionway steps.
The cockpit is spacious and there is a cockpit tent which extends the living space. She has just had her hull painted and been antifouled.
If you are currently in the market for a top class 30 footer come and view. She is ready to sail away.
