This custom motor sailer is fabricated of heavy gauge steel - crafted to very high standards by Electro Marine of Port Credit in Toronto, Canada. The Charles Wittholz design is a beautifully curved and shaped hull that also features a long straight keel, large streamlined rudder and a well protected four blade stainless steel propeller.
The interior is rich in a variety of varnished and painted hardwoods. Large Lexan windows encompass the salon providing ample natural light and excellent visibility. The combination creates a cozy, nautical, cottage-like atmosphere. There are four berths with 1 double and 2 singles in two cabins, two manual heads and a quaint, efficient galley with 3 burner propane oven/stove and refrigeration.
The sloop rigged motor sailer is set-up with reliable engine, sails and rigging.
Power -
1xdiesel 80hp Perkins (1985) an unused engine until installation in 1995. The engine compartment is easily accessed, clean, and laid out well. The engine is also fitted with a 120 amp alternator. Engine cooling is provided
by a keel cooler.
Sail –
Sloop rigged with tall sheet winches that are arranged for easy sail handling, including the ease of a roller furling (Furlex system) jib. The Spar Tec mast is equipped with an extra track for a storm sail. The mainsail rides on Harken cars and is equipped with lazy-jacks. Standing rigging is Norseman stainless cable.
