Featured Boat of the Week - USCG Self-Rightiing MLB_44!
Boats just don’t come much safer than this former US Coast Guard self-righting 44 foot motor lifeboat!
Having already served as a rescue vessel under the most challenging conditions, this 1966 MLB-44 is ready to return to duty or to be converted to a safe family fun craft. The stout COR-TEN steel hull is designed to cut through ice up to 6” thick – the right suit of armor for the deadheads of Puget Sound. She’s equipped to cruise or to tow heavy loads with her twin GM Detroit diesels. There’s plenty of space to modify this seaworthy vessel into a cozy cruising yacht -- or a dive boat? Or a port service vessel?
