It's Show Time!
The London International Boat Show gets underway on 7th January and runs all the way through to 16th January. This year there are lots of changes with a new hall at Excel, a new entrance and lots of new attractions and features.
New features for 2011 include:
Cruising Chute
Come and see John Goode on the cruising chute trainer to discover how to set, trim, gybe and recover this powerful sail without any drama.
The Knowledge Box
The Knowledge Box is the place to see, listen and hear from the experts. With a full time table of presentations this is your opportunity to benefit and learn from the best in the business.
Used Boats Marina
For the first time ever, previously loved boats are coming to the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show!
Family Area
Head to the Family Area to take the weight off your feet and relax in the café while the kids enjoy themselves playing and colouring.
The Outdoors Show
Europe’s largest Show for outdoor pursuits will take place from 13th-16th January alongside the boat show with free entry to all boat show ticket holders
New Superyacht Breaks A Record
The new Princess 32 metre motor yacht makes its world debut at the Show, and is the largest boat to ever be displayed inside the halls of the ExCeL centre. At 100 tonnes, the Princess 32 metre is the heaviest boat that has ever been lifted into the Show.
With an eye-watering length of 32 metres and at over 13 metres tall, squeezing it into the South Hall in preparation for the annual boating showcase was no easy logistical feat.
The Princess 32 metre is among some 1000 boats on Show from 7 - 16 January. Throughout the 10 day event, hundreds of exhibitors will showcase the marine industry’s finest products, services and equipment and an enormous range of boats - from kayaks and dinghies to sail boats and motor yachts which will be open to climb aboard, explore and trial.
Boatshed Stand (G19)
Come along to the Boatshed stand at G19 to meet with members of the Boatshed team. Chat with us about buying or selling a boat and discover what makes Boatshed unique. The show is open late on Thursday 13th January (until 21.00hrs) and you are welcome to join us on the stand for an evening celebration.
