Autumn is here and winter is on its way. If you are considering laying up for the winter then the choice at Salcombe is limited to Lincombe Boatyard and the Shadycombe car park operated by South Hams District Council and the Harbour Master.

Neither of these locations offers under cover storage so its great news to hear that Frogmore Boatyard have just completed their new purpose built under cover storage facility. In total there is 6000 square feet of space with a smooth concrete floor available, for boats able to reach the head of Frogmore creek or arrive by trailer. Generally speaking boats up to 32’ and 5 tonnes in weight can be accommodated at Frogmore Boatyard.

With the addition of all this space the current under cover workshop will be reserved for boats being worked on throughout the winter. This will help ensure boats stored in the new barn are kept as clean as possible.
