This vessel was built in Bellingham, WA at the Pacific Trawlers factory. The hull design has not been changed from the original Blane Seeley design, however the interior has been completely changed.
Starting with the hull the keel and chines were all built with doublers, meaning that extra layers of fiberglass were added. The hull extension was bonded in at the factory and an additional 60 gallons of fuel were added as well as two addition storage areas, port and starboard.
A large U-shaped galley is located in the port forward section of the saloon. The head was mover to the starboard side with a separate shower stall. There is also a separate head in the owners stateroom forward.
The upper deck and flybridge is accessed by a set of stairs on the starboard side outside the pilot house door and a SS ladder from the aft deck.
The fore deck is accessible from both pilot house doors and supplies easy access to the anchor windlass. There is also comfortable seating forward of the windshield.

Getting aboard is easy -- crew can easily step aboard the three foot extended aft deck. Removable staples secure the open transom. Crew can also climb aboard forward at the pilot house doors. The large mid guard supplies a step.
Entering from the double aft doors you step into the saloon. To your right is an L-shaped dinette, with high low table, that converts into a queen size berth. There is a custom hanging locker at the forward end and a heavy curved mahogany rail at the aft inboard end.
Moving forward on the port side you find a large storage cabinet and TV cabinet. The large U-shaped galley is next. A combination freezer/refrigerator is located in the aft section. The double sink is under the opening window on the port side and the electric two-burner stove is in the forward section. A microwave is located over the counter but inside a cabinet. To starboard of the microwave are two storage cabinets. There are also drawers and more storage under the counter.
For privacy a built-in curtain rail is in the ceiling, with a mahogany cover. This supplies a privacy curtain for guests.
Moving into the pilot house you find a double seat that can be converted to a triple by removing the center table. There is great visibility both looking forward and aft due to the two windows at the aft end of the area.
Moving into the master stateroom , you immediately notice the width of the V-berth. It's really close to being two single berths. The aft section is nearly 8 feet wide. The is also a forward head and sink -- one of the few Pacific Trawlers that have this feature.
The aft head has a full shower stall and a Vac-u flush toilet. The forward head has a manual toilet and basin only.
Moving back to the pilothouse you step out of the starboard door to access the flybridge and upper deck by a set of stairs. The flybridge has a single centerline helm chair with bench seats port and starboard. The upper deck has a custom entertainment center which includes a grill and refrigerator. When the dinghy is lowered by the mast boom, there is ample seating for guests.

Commentaires du Broker
There are few pre-owned boats in the marketplace that can truly be considered in "like-new condition" but in my judgment this Pacific Trawlers 40 is one of them. The vessel has been in exclusively fresh water since it was new and was moored, during summers, in a covered slip. During winters it was stored on land completely covered by shrink wrap. All systems were drained and winterized and even the batteries were disconnected. If you haven't guessed by now, the vessel is located in a cold-winter location!
The boat was built in Washington and trucked to Minnesota, and is now for sale by the original owner. She can be trucked and delivered throughout the US -- contact me for information on shipping. All maintenance was done by the same company so complete records are available.
Some special equipment includes two reverse cycle air conditioning units, a 50 amp power inlet with a Cable Master power cord retrieval system . There is also a custom FRP unit on the upper deck which includes a large built-in propane grill and a refrigerator. A Kahlenberg air whistle, a window defroster system and engine cabin heat are included.
This is one of the factory built, custom aft deck extensions with removable canvas covered SS staples. All doors and windows are Diamond Sea Glaze. The interior is done in Honduras mahogany. A custom mahogany high/low table is also included.
Please review the attached listing for a complete review of all its equipment.
