This Saturday 30th June Pin Mill Sailing Club are hosting the 2012 Barge Match

There are around 20 of these beautiful vessels of yester-year anticipated for this weekends event. The barges are from the length and breadth of the East coast with owners, skippers and crew coming together to pit skill, expertise and knowledge to be the fastest barge around the circuit.

Come along and witness these marine leviathans jockey for position to be the first across the Start off Buttermans Bay (at 1000). Then track them down the Orwell, out along the Coast and follow the match from one of the many beautiful vantage points along the South Suffolk Coast. Saturday promises to be a day to remember.

Pin Mill will be a hive of activity throughout the day culminating with the prize giving at the Pin Mill Sailing Clubhouse in the evening (at 2100).
